Artists of All Ages: come join in on the creative exploration!
One-Day Spring Workshops are here to invigorate you with energy + joy!
Beginning at 9:45, artists will enjoy a 15 minute warm-up activity, learning about the artists and cultures that inform the lesson. Step- by - step instruction will give each artist the confidence to make personal choices with their project. During break time, or if they finish early, Artists can visit sensory centers, play/chat with friends or work on a directed activity. We listen to music, encourage dancing, and sharing of our technique discoveries!
If there is any remaining time after an artist finishes their project, they are invited to engage in process art. (Process Art is art that is child-directed, choice-driven, and celebrates the experience of discovery. In process art, the final product is always unique and the focus lies in the creation of the work, not the outcome.) Among the choices will be play-doh, building with recycled materials, fibers, natural materials and painting or drawing.
To enroll in a one day class, or a camp, please download both the enrollment form and waiver. These can be emailed to Debra - [email protected] or printed and mailed to the address on the form. Payment can be made via Venmo @DebraStudio or by check or cash. All classes normally take place in the garage, but if temperatures are too cold, we will hold very small classes in Debra's studio, or larger enrollments in the basement creative space.
