Session 1 July 24-28 Mon - Fri Little Artists Ages 3-6 9am-12:00 $40/day or $200/week
Little Artists: come join in on the drawing, painting and creative experimentation!
At drop off, each artist begins the class with a 30 minut exploration. Artists can visit centers, create with friends or work on a directed activity. Then, there will be a more formal drawing/painting lesson where individuals can make independent choices. Young artists will engage in this formal step by step lesson to their ability and interest. There will be a movement, play, & snack break to energize our bodies before beginning part 2!
The second part of the class is choice-based with invitations to create more focused on 3D and messy play. Young artists will engage in process art with classmates (Process Art is art that is child-directed, choice-driven, and celebrates the experience of discovery. In process art, the final product is always unique and the focus lies in the creation of the work, not the outcome.) Among the choices will be a station to create a more formal, guided 3-D project with traditional sculpture materials, as well as building with recycled materials, fibers, natural materials and clay.
To enroll in a one day class, or the entire week, please download both the enrollment form and waiver. These can be emailed to Debra - d.bianculli@gmail.com or printed and mailed to the address on the form. Payment can be made via Venmo @DebraStudio or by check or cash.
